Mar 28, 2008 · Michael, Eric and Robert...and all other HD DVD users, CyberLink PowerDVD 8 will NOT uninstall old versions of PowerDVD, it is installed in a separate folder. Therefore you can continue to play your HD DVDs if you have versions 7.1 or 7.3 (Ultra) installed and you choose to purchase PowerDVD 8. CyberLink will continue to support these two versions.
