Does CM11 support ext4 for the external SD? I would like to format my SD with ext4, mainly to be able to use softlinks. Some of my apps only write to the internal SD with no configuration option to change the storage location. Using ext4 would solve the problems, give a slightly better performance and would allow me to store 4GIG+ files.

Ext2/3/4 is Linux's primary filesystem and is already heavily used under the hood, plus it's well supported on Linux hosts and reasonably well supported with ext2fd on Windows (32/64 bit, even Win7).
