Dec 14, 2011 · TRIM is a Windows feature, not part of the drive itself. The drive itself has what's called Garbage Collection, that's firmware based. (But yes, the drive does support TRIM) However, The OCZ Vertex 3 (and other drives using the new sandforce controller) have been a little 'problematic' lately. Lots of Blue Screens etc.
