Did Dell make these boards themselves? I can't find a reliable source to say what the fastest CPU is that the board will support. Putting in an SL7B8 processor gives me a message at bootup saying "this processor is not supported by this motherboard and will run at reduced speed". It is running at about 2793 MHz, or 199.5 x 14 according to CPUID.

Aug 08, 2010 · Unsupported BIOS setting (CPUID is limited) Disable "Limit CPUID value" or Support legacy/NT4 OS in BIOS. I am attempting to install on a Dell Precision 670 that has dual XEON 3.2 ghz processors. I don't see how to disable the CPUID value, nor any way to change a parameter related to legacy NT4 OS.
