I don't exactly understand why the Streaming in Streaming SIMD Extensions (or in Streaming Multiprocessor either), however. The instructions are coming from a stream, but can they come from anywhere else? Do we or could we have just SIMD extensions or just multiprocessors? Tl;dr: can CPU instructions be non-streaming, i.e. not come from a stream?

One more thing regarding Intel Atom processor Z2520, the Intel Ark web-site says it supports till SSE3. Should I understand that this processor does not support Intel SSSE3 instructions which is the supplementary set for the SSE3 instructions. I am even trying to locate the data-sheet for this particular processor.

Simple answer, YES. All processors do nowadays. SIMD is a generic term. The first implementation in common use is Intel’s MMX, came out in 1996 and soon became standard in x86 processors.
