The DfE commissioned ASK Research to investigate what effective SEN Support looks like in schools and colleges. Coventry University were commissioned to carry out a rapid evidence review on the same topic. A toolkit was then developed pulling these findings together in a toolkit for school and college practitioners and a summary for leaders.

CU Coventry students have access to a Welfare Adviser who can offer support by providing a broad range of advice and guidance on personal, practical and emotional issues. The Welfare Adviser works closely with all academic and professional staff, as well as external agencies, so is able to signpost and refer students to other services who can also offer support.
