I went in and changed the monitor resolution to a larger size (windows recommended 1920 x 1080) but I tried something larger, and now the monitor has a black screen with a little box moving around which says "input not supported".

Oct 12, 2016 · I'm guessing the monitor power light is blue or green before "no signal" appears, then it turns orange. That means the computer's graphics device isn't sending a good signal to the monitor. You tried 3 different monitors and have the same issue, so the problem isn't with the monitor. It's my guess the computer's graphics device has gone bad.
