Feb 15, 2018 · The simplest things does not work on Windows 10, it worked all fine with Windows 7. Could anyone explain what should one do to get File sharing work on Windows 10. Never thought I would ask such simple question on the forum, Thanks to Microsoft.

Jun 13, 2019 · To stop sharing in File Explorer, do one of the following: Right-click or press a file or folder, then select Give access to > Remove access. Select a file or folder, select the Share tab at the top of File Explorer, and then in the Share with section select Remove access.

Jan 26, 2017 · However I am not able to connect to Vista share associated with Vista oldboy user's profile root, that user does not exist on Win 10. This share is set to be used by Win 10 user, any though for some reason it does not help. Maybe these are the ACLs for this directory. Nor I am able to connect to Vista share associated with its optical drive.
