Mar 05, 2008 · The postfix package supplied with CentOS has support for SASL compiled in so I would highly recommend you stick with that rather than trying to build your own. For SASL, you can either use the Cyrus-SASL package or Dovecot, if you are using it for imap/pop3, as it also provides support for SASL.
