May 31, 2017 · Hi @ranguli unfortunately I wasn't able to use latex preview with python/dyn , even by editing the plugin and by supporting the python/dyn library it didn't work. I don't know if it's a Mac problem, anyway a solution could be to download vim source code and compile it by enabling the python support and by replacing the native mac vim with the compiled vim.

If you want to compile MacVim from source, because you, like me, want the latest developement version and you are using Homebrew to keep your development environment up to date, you should know that the brewed Python version doesn't links to Vim with --enable-pythoninterp, nor does the Macports version..
