However, whenever I access the website canyouseeme.org I am unable to "see" port 587. I have contacted Comcast technical support and was told that the port was not being blocked HOWEVER the tech later sent me a screenshot of the "proof" that Comcast was not blocking this port IT WAS A SCREENSHOT OF MY NETGEAR ROUTER'S PORT FORWARDING RULES!

Feb 22, 2013 · Comcast sent out an email saying: For security reasons Comcast will not send email over port 25 anymore and to change to port 465… You will be unable to send email over port 25 once it is disabled, and you will need to update your settings to port 465 in order to continue to send email.
