I'm on a web page and selected a few words. When hitting 'control-C' or select 'copy' from the context menu, it pops up a dialog saying: your browser has refused the operation, open about:config and set signed.applets.codebase_principal_support to true.

I am trying to set signed.applets.codebase_pr incipal_su pport to true using javascript in line 4 above but getting user_pref not defined. How do I set using javascript? I can set it using about:config or by manually editing prefs.js file but I want to set it using javascript.
