Dec 03, 2019 · Anyone one run a Bar Support on there lathe to run longe bars in your lathes. Like the the ones JF Burns make. Never seen one in production. Basically they are just stands to hold the bar sticking out of the back of the lathe to prevent the bar from whipping.

Nov 12, 2012 · Finally got around to making some bushings for the left side of my Lathe spindle to support longer pieces of bar stock. My spindle is nearly 30" long from the chuck jaws to the fitting on the opposite end that the collet closer attaches to.
