Sep 27, 2011 · Is there any limitation on L2 Switches for IPv6 connections, means if L2 switch is not configured or not supporting IPv6 features will it be able to pass IPv6 packets? Currently i am using Cisco WS-C2950T-24 Switch having ios - c2950-i6q4l2-mz.121-19.EA1c.bin. There is no configuration for IPv6.

Jun 13, 2013 · Just got done (I think) configuring a test 2950 switch for deployment, all my switches in server room are managed etc, and have IP's to SSH to them, all of our switches on the floor are unmanaged. How do I make sure I can SSH to this switches IP, I gave it an IP and subnet, on our managed devices vlan upon the initial config.
