May 08, 2014 · However, if I install a Firefox or Chrome extension called IE Tab, the popup window does materialize for Firefox and Chrome, just not for Internet Explorer--which means I can run ActiveX controls in Firefox and Chrome but not Internet Explorer. This happens on Windows 7 64-bit machines using IE9, IE10, and IE11 (haven't tried on IE8).
