Apr 25, 2017 · Only the All Languages pack will include East Asian Language and Input Support while both will have the East Asian Characters and Font Support. As such, the Multilanguage pack only allow the BlackBerry device to read Asian languages while the All Languages pack will allow read and write.

May 20, 2012 · thx, but this does not seem to be the problem. I changed the resource file to UTF-8, and I see it can save the Chinese characters. However, it seems the BlackBerry language resource tool actually does not read the Chinese. It automatically /u escapes all the characters when I manually copy them into the editor (suggestion by @Sheepdogsheep).

To turn on input languages, swipe down from the top of the screen once using two fingers, or twice using one finger > Tap > System > Language & input > Keyboard Settings > BlackBerry Keyboard > Input languages. If the Use system language switch is turned on, turn it off.
