Apr 05, 2016 · I'm not sure that neighbours semi removed chimney breast has got a bracket in, probably not. We've just spend a small fortune on the roof so I'm keen to leave the chimney in and sort in internally. Here are some pics. There are two pics of a hole in the first floor chimney breast well where you can just about see the bit of wood!

Dec 15, 2010 · Don't see a problem here. Yes a Party Wall Agreement was applicable, but now it's done nothing can be forced to change the gallows bracket. You will need to employ an engineer to design how you support the remaining chimney on your side and apply to the council with a Building Notice: plus notify your neighbour under the Party Wall Act.
