However, the exception is 802.1Q trunking. The Catalyst 6500 series platform can support jumbo frame sizes in CatOS release 6.1(1) and later.

This coreswitch is connected to an EMC Solera SAN, via a catalyst 3750E switch. On the other end, the 6500 is connected to HP bladecenters via CBS3125X-SÂ bladeswitches.
