Nov 12, 2019 · Catalog file Afields.fdc and Shapes.atc not found on launch AUTOCAD2016 and 2018 Issue ... manually copying the Shapes.atc and Acfields.fdc from C:\program Files\Autodesk\Autocad 2018\UserDataCache\Support works and is a good Workaround but definately not Fix.

Mar 10, 2006 · Shape catalog file 'C:\Documents and Settings\username\application Data\Autodesk\AutoCAD 2006\R16.2\enu\support\Shapes.atc' is not found. I click ok and the program runs but with minimal menus in the bar. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling several time with no luck. I had this happen on another workstation and reinstalling cured it.

Hi Sclexman, As of this morning, all 5 laptops mentioned in my post still show "fail" and "Catalog file not found" when I "View query results" using Update Retriever (version 5.00.0010), after receiving message "No new updates were found for the systems you specified" when trying to search for updates.

Dec 15, 2008 · "catalog file 'support\AcFields.fdc' is not found" i have searched for this file and it is located in 2 locations on my compter both \support folders. my toolpallets are acting like they are hidden. the command seems to work but the pallet wont pop up.
