About Carroll County Animal Support We are a volunteer based org. We help the local county shelter in getting dogs saved. The county shelter doesn't have an adoption program nor do they accept cats. So we try to handle the cats and save what dogs we can.

Carroll County Animal Shelter is currently equipped for housing stray dogs and puppies only. The facility does not house cats at this time. A license is required by ordinance of all dogs over six months of age. The cost for the license is $5.00 and they are renewed every July 1st.
