Nov 21, 2013 · I have just upgraded to Windows 8.1. When I try to use the printer, I get the message Cannot communicate with printer. Turn bidirectional support on in the printers properties dialog box. I have a Canon MX850 printer/scanner/fax. I have downloaded the latest driver from Canon, still doesn't work. Any suggestions? Thanks.
