When I try to install software on my Windows XP machine, it is looking for Microsoft Visual foxpro support libraries, and I'm getting this error: cannot locate microsoft visual foxpro support library. Googled and got some suggestions which did not help. Tried putting msvcr70.dll, vfp7r.dll, vfp8renu.dll in the installation folder.

When I log on as a regular user, it says "Cannot locate the Microsoft Visual FoxPro support library." I tried creating user accounts with various privileges on the Server 2008 machine, but in every case when I got one working, the ones that were already created quit working. I have read that the runtime install updates the registry, etc.

VFP 8 & 6 runtime cannot find support library on Win7 64. Visual FoxPro > ... the DBFs stored server side are local, ... Error: Cannot locate the Microsoft Visual FoxPro Support Library. Visual FoxPro > Visual FoxPro General. Appearantly I had VFP 7.0.
