Yes, 64gb (two 32gb microSD) works great on PSP 1000 and 2000. I've heard of 96 (32 plus 64) and 128 (2x 64) but I've never run across cheap enough 64gb microSDs to test it myself.

I use 6.60 (PSP-1001 on CFW) and have two 64gb in the ebest to make 110gb after formatting. It can totally be more than 64gb. I used the ebest as I said and two 64gb Lexar High-Performance microSDXC. The PSP did all the formatting too.
