I can ask those same people for help to brace the floor before I fill it. Question is, will bracing the floor with two jack posts and a 4x4 be enough? Or maybe it's not a 4x4. It may be bigger. I can't remember and can't go measure it because it's at my house, and I'm still at my mother's house over 500 miles away.

Jan 27, 2010 · Can my floor support my aquarium? I want to put in a 120 gallon saltwater aquarium. The dimensions of the aquarium are roughly 48"x24"x26". I will build the stand and add a 2x4" support every 18" on the bottom of the stand - so the stand will be flat on the floor. The stand will be the same dimensions except 32" high.
