No relation to heart rate or other means to define the real calorie consumption. I have asked the support several times about this, and Withings just have no interest in this issue. If you need accurately measure your calories, or if you are at all serious with your sports and health monitoring, you need a better device from another manufacturer.

About three days ago the SHealth app updated on my watch and from that day on the burned calories count for workouts has been way off mark. A regular 44 minute walk used to be like 200 calories and after the update its reporting over 1k calories.
