Jun 04, 2017 · First things first. MW2 doesn't have official controller support on the PC, so you wont be able to have aim assist when you play. Goto the steam store (this guide is for controller companion) and buy controller compaion its 3 bucks. This guide will be for xbox one/360 controller and PS3/PS4 controller.

The Xbox 360 controller is compatible on PC with COD and many other games. Just plug it in. There is likely to be controller support in Advanced Warfare as there was in Black Ops 2 and Ghosts. It's a bit of a disadvantage against some M+K players but on the whole; you'll still do well if you're comfortable and decent with a controller.

The game has partial controller support according to the Steam's Store page, but there is no Aim Assist like in consoles. Anyway Mouse + Keyboard are and will always far more better than controllers.
