May 13, 2007 · i think you're a bit off, the C1E doesn't shut down anything, it just lowers the multy to the minimum possible while EIST lowers it to either 6,7 or 8 (depending on the cpu), so if the load is like <25% it's at 6x, if it's 25-50% it's at 7x, if it's 50-75% it's at 8x and at 9x while higher than 75%
