Answer "C1E Support" is a power saving function for CPU, you have to enable "C-state" first to be able to see this setting in BIOS.

Aug 19, 2010 · I have been reading through some of Intel's technical documention trying to understand better how these three BIOS features work. It's not easy reading for a layman, but trying to peice it together it seems that if SpeedStep is Enabled, then it becomes redundant to have C1E Support Enabled, and if C-STATE is Enabled it looks like it takes over control of C1E.

Another thing to consider is that the A03 BIOS which was just recently released also supports the 'Enhanced Halt State' or the C1E option in the BIOS. Where SpeedStep allows steppings of clock speeds and voltages, C1E is just a one shot deal. Factory default is turned on and my Q6600 (without load) gets lowerd to 1600MHz (6x266).

Sep 16, 2017 · Officially jun has stated that his 1.02b loader doesn't support AMD, However people have had success getting it to work with various AMD boards, the HP Microservers do require disabling C1E support in the bios, not sure about other AMD boards.
