C++11 Support in GCC. GCC 4.8.1 was the first feature-complete implementation of the 2011 C++ standard, previously known as C++0x. This mode can be selected with the -std=c++11 command-line flag, or -std=gnu++11 to enable GNU extensions as well. Jul 10, 2019 · I am getting a "System_Protect_-_PROTECT_ERROR_0xEB5323828 and it tells me to contact Microsoft Support at (833) 361-3253 Toll Free. I can't get rid of this message without using "end task" then the next time I try to use Edge I get the same message again.

C++11 standard has been approved a while back and g++, clang and to a lesser extent Visual C++ (Visual Studio 12) support most of the features. And many bugfixes in 4.7. So I would like to be able to use c++11 and 4.7.2 and not have to go back to c++0x and 4.6.2.

Looks like you'll need to install an up to date version of GCC yourself; RHEL (at least as of 6.x) does not have a version of GCC supporting C++0x in it's repositories.
