Oct 02, 2012 · It's difficult to find out about byte-range requests: you can test for it, but only once you've been able to put media files up there (unless you can find media files belonging to someone else the same server). Whoever you go with you should ask about this before committing - Apple will reject your podcast if the server can't handle this.

I have read all over that Apache allows Byte-Range support from default. However I am unable to stream any of our audio files nor am I able to add them to a podcast on itunes because it says that Byte-Range support is not enabled on my server. I have tried looking around to find a solution to this problem but can't seem to find it.

I have some other podcasts being served from the same server, which were added before iTunes started requiring byte-range support, and they still work fine (on any platform, including iPhone, indicating that the byte-range requests are indeed working).
