Feb 09, 2010 · I´ve connected successfully my ESXi 4 server via NFS with a Buffalo Terastation XL. I can see the storage information and I can write data on it, BUT: I can´t read the data!! All commands, like create VM, copy/move files and create folders work propoerly as I can see the files on the NAS via ftp without any problems.

Jan 30, 2010 · We have a TS-WX2.0TL in Test for the Projects VMWARE on NAS I can map the NAS Storage from Buffalo in ESX 4.0, but the folder is Empty in the ESX DataBowser. The datas ( VMWARE Files ) are on the Share, i can see in the FileBrowser from Windows. I Can copy and delete Files on the NFS Share. Only under ESX I can see no files. Have any body a idea?

From the TeraStation user interface make sure the slide switch next to NFS is blue to indicate that NFS is enabled. Click the configuration widget next to the slide switch to set options for NFS.

Nov 19, 2008 · This is how I configured my 4.0 TB Terastation II Rackmount with NFS and connected it to my ESX 3.01 servers. 1. I had to load the newest firmware from Buffalo for my unit so it would support NFS (I had 1.26 which does not support NFS). The newest firmware that I loaded is version 1.33.
