From the TeraStation user interface make sure the slide switch next to NFS is blue to indicate that NFS is enabled. Click the configuration widget next to the slide switch to set options for NFS. On the services tab make sure “Operation Mode” is set to “Kernel Mode”. If it is not, click the “Edit” button to change.

Jul 24, 2009 · I mean, gads, it has Appletalk, but not nfs? Even my cheap little Smartdisk NAS has nfs :( What devices do have NFS support then, considering the Linkstation Quad is the highest end device that isn't considered for "small business"?

Trying to mount a Buffalo TeraStation II under HP-UX (11.0). I am able to mount as a NFS file system and move around on the NAS. When I try to read I file the request times out. Any help would be appreciated!
