Mar 16, 2016 · It seems, from the screenshots I saw, that the option to skip the download of support software is gone in BC 6. I'm trying to install Windows 10. I have the Windows ISO and I already downloaded the AppleBcUpdate.exe file (the support software file) somewhere else than Boot Camp because that is unusually slow.

You can download the drivers from Boot Camp Assistant. First, uncheck "Create a Windows 7 or later install disk" and "Install Windows 7 or later version", leaving only "Download the latest Windows support software from Apple" option checked. It should look something like this: Make sure you have a USB drive connected, and click continue.

Aug 13, 2019 · Open Boot Camp Assistant, which is in the Utilities folder of your Applications folder. From the menu bar at the top of your screen, choose Action > Download Windows Support Software, then choose your USB flash drive as the save destination. When the download completes, quit Boot Camp Assistant.

Jul 21, 2013 · I fired up boot camp assistant. Unchecked the first box (I don't have a Win7 ISO...I have Win7 Disk and a super drive). The next thing it wants to do is the title of this post. It gets 50% of the way done then stops. It never errors out or goes any further. I left it overnight with no luck. I looked on the net and found no help.
