the problem is in the way the bios of the computer handles the boot process. due to the number of inconsistent and buggy systems, we have included 3 different methods to tell the system to boot to the next boot device. you may also find that updating the bios on a system may fix the issue.

Mar 20, 2019 · There also does not seem to be a way to change the boot order, seems all I can do is select one of the items on the list (I select my C drive, and that works, it boots into Windows, but the boot order remains the same, the USB backup drive is first).

Aug 12, 2016 · Try wiping the boot sector if your risk first, then reboot server with disk above the network device in your boot order. Without the boot block the server will skip disk and install is from PXE boot. When OS is installed it will reboot to disk image.
