Jul 07, 2011 · 108050p is NOT a bluray spec, meaning it will not play in a bluray player from a bluray disc. The bluray spec is 108050i (there are others). The Hx9v can do 108050i at 24Mbps, which is very good and is a bluray spec, so you can burn a universally-playable bluray directly with those files.

NTSC and PAL use different FPS (frames per second) rates. But the Blu-ray specification clearly defines what frame rates players must support. All PAL players must support frame rates of 23.976, 24, 24.97, 25, 29.97, 30, 59.94, and 60 but NTSC only need to support 23.976, 24, 29.97, 30, 59.94, and 60 fps.

Feb 05, 2014 · Re: All-Region DVD and Blu-ray Player Advice. If a BD player can convert PAL to NTSC, it should definitely be able to convert 1080 50hz to 60hz. That's essentially what it is.
