Apr 06, 2009 · Mail server is imap.gmail.com. Follow the prompts until complete. After complete to make the blackberry diplay the name you want for that particular email account go to edit and change name. This works for me.

To setup your Gmail account with the 2.6 sync you have to delete and recreate the account. You can do this from sprint.nextel.com or nextel.blackberry.com. I never used the IMAP setup before BIS 2.6 (only the POP3 method), but I can verify that on my 8350i e-mails are delivered within 10 seconds of them hitting my inbox after deleting/recreating.
