Nov 22, 2019 · It has bidirectional support enabled, but its greyed out and I cant un-tick it. It is disabled on the queue on the server so I removed the printer uninstalled the driver and added the printer again but upon checking the properties the tick is still there. I added the printer on my laptop and bidirectional support is turned off.

I have tried two different drivers for a Brother DCP-7020 printer, and under properties, ports, the option for "Enable bidirectional support is gray and not available. That option needs to be turned on for the RD printing to work, I believe, and the printing is not working.
