Judging from Google results, it looks like people have been able to compile this successfully (and obviously have built gcc toolchain for this platform somehow).

Jul 08, 2009 · The target is arm cortex with using newlib. If I try crossdev -s3 -t arm-elf-gnueabi in the summary header libc: glibc-[latest] and it fails with BFD does not support target. If I try crossdev -s3 -t arm-elf-eabi (also arm-unknown-elf-eabi) in the summary header libc: -[latest] and it fails at cross-linux-headers as libc is unknown. If I cheat

Aug 07, 2012 · Also does anyone know when the gnuarm eclipse plugin might recognize the tuplet change? Editing all of the tool names for every new project is a pain and is driving me to just write my own makefiles. It's not a huge problem but it would make life better.

If not - Swap out USB cables - Don't connect the ST-Link to your computer via USB hub If the box on the top left says - "Unknown target connected" - On the middle-left of the screen, in the 'Target Com" box, switch the Port from "JTAG" to "SW" - ST-LINK requires a Serial Wire interface, not JTAG.
