A lot of the LMGs you can use in Battlefield 4 online are less suited for running and gunning. That’s why a support should be cautious with leading an attack. In defense, however, it doesn’t hurt to have a support up front. If he’s good with his weapon and is well positioned, he can hold large parts of the hostile team back, all on his own.

Jul 29, 2013 · It's neither very exciting, nor very effective. In fact, the mortar is simply impractical on most Conquest maps. So I'm wondering, will DICE repeat the same mistake with mortars in BF4? Will mortars even be part of BF4? (I believe so. The support class still needs more gadgets.)

Jul 24, 2015 · 1)About the running out of ammo thing , it take 10 seconds to load each shell , its done for overall balance i feel , in maps like operation lock you don't want people to keep spamming with mortar shells 2)Rate of fire is slow again for balance i feel , in real life also mortals are not that fast , but in game i feel its fast enough to get easy kills 3)I think only on tall building the mortars ...
