Nov 16, 2012 · In joint-strike action, the south side of the Burnaby campus is being struck Monday by the BCIT Faculty and Staff Association. BCGEU Support Staff members who work on the Burnaby Campus are to report to Beta Avenue for their assigned shifts and picketing instructions. Members may park in Lot 7, but must walk around the campus to get to Beta Avenue.

Sep 04, 2014 · Thank you for the words of encouragement. The BCGEU has many members directly impacted by the job action in the capacity of Support Staff (EA's. payroll). The members in Tumbler Ridge(School District NO.59) have shown total support for the teachers and will continue to do so. As a steward and picket captain they have made my tasks easy.

Nov 13, 2012 · Douglas College support staff will go on strike tomorrow, Wednesday November 14 th at 7am to 7pm. All BCGEU members were emailed the picket schedule this morning. The New Westminster campus will be picketed and any BCGEU member who is scheduled to work at the New Westminster campus on Wednesday will not report for work.
