Aug 01, 2014 · If I download something like Dragons Den, a 640MB file from BBC iplayer, it takes over an hour. If I do the same on my Nexus 5, Nexus 7 or Moto G, it takes minutes. I've tried turning wifi optimization off, rebooting, forgetting the network, trying 5GHz and 2.4GHz networks, and still slow. Speed tests on wifi are fine

Jan 10, 2014 · I have been using BBC iplayer on my Nexus 10 under Android 4.2.2 for a while and it has been fine - until the latest update to Chrome. Now whenever I run iplayer it tells me I need to install BBC media player (which is already installed). The only options are "install media player" or "cancel".
