    Nov 04, 2013 · Make sure the Xbox 360 controller is plugged in and connected to the PC before starting Battlefield 4 (or any Frostbite game for that matter). It seems to disable controller support if you launch the game without a controller plugged in.

    May 20, 2014 · I have a white wired xbox 360 controller btw, But I could use a regular xbox controller perfectly, it's just when I get into the game (battlefield 4) it just doesn't work, and I can't assign any buttons either. It just doesn't register when I press the buttons.
