Jun 13, 2019 · I have now after a few hours of messing around managed to resolve, the issue was down to the Veritas Backup software, because Backup Exec authenticates via AD the NAS needed to join on the domain to allow it to receive the full list of AD Users so it could then authenticate with the same account at both ends.
