Sep 29, 2017 · [SOLVED] No wifi on my Broadcom b43 wifi card after Linux update After last update, I ended up with no wifi on my Dell Latitude E4300 Laptop. Wifi card uses a broadcom b43 , that I've always managed to configure using b43-fwcutter core pakage and b43-firmaware on the AUR.

Aug 30, 2011 · Updated kernel to 2.6.34.2-1 with a full system upgrade and wlan stopped working. Wired connection works well. Network manager does not see/sense any available wlan connections. Connecting manually to a known wlan name (essid) does not work either.

LP-PHY devices: DMA errors on some machines with kernel 2.6. Problem was fixed in 3.0. Using PIO (module param) can be used as workaround for 2.6. BCM4318 chipset: AP mode does not work because of packet loss in high transmission rates. Hard to debug & fix. BCM4321: some cards do not work in DMA mode (PIO is needed).
