Supported AVI-Codecs. AviStack supports AVIs recorded with the Y800-codec (uncompressed grey scale), DIB-codec (uncompressed color) and I420/IYUV-codec (webcams). I.e. all grey scale and color films recorded with the cameras of The Imaging Source as well as films taken with the Philips ToUCams.

Nov 21, 2014 · I feel that AS2 gave a slightly sharper result than AviStack, and was quicker as well. However, if the seeing wasn't great, or the view was jumpy, or if the view drifted during capture, AviStack often did a better job (AS2 would sometimes not register the offsets well and stack a blurry mess).

Aug 31, 2005 · Out of the original avi -file, I exported (in VirtualDub) a set of 859 .bmp -files. Out of them (in AviStack) I selected 610 frames to stack (the program used 608 reference points for that). On the left is the result from AviStack with no postprocessing at all, and on the right is a slightly postprocessed version (see details in the pic).
