Apr 04, 2016 · The last place, it was just part of the job. No extra pay. but I was also VERY well paid so I was cool with that. My current employer the techs support 90 locations and the phone rings at least once a night. they get an extra day's pay for being on call - and time in lieu for the call time (but the have to fight to get the time back a lot)
