Jan 29, 2016 · Most of the documentation is about when one of your Exchange servers is being reported as not having the Audit Security Privilege on the domain controller. What is in question though is when the Domain Controller itself errors out due to not having the Audit Security Privilege on itself. After much trial and error, I have found a solution.
