Aug 05, 2005 · audacity with mp3 support But the audacity I had and installed with yum some months ago did have mp3 support. I don't understand the change - a package shouldn't be allowed to be upgraded with a different/reduced version.

Cant Import MP3 in Audacity (Fedora) ... Since, it was not compiled such way to support the mp3 format, you would have to firstly uninstall it then install it from other source. Use the command to remove audacity: sudo yum remove audacity. The system will ask password credentials, enter them.
