Feb 06, 2012 · In particular, when I create the ATL project in Visual Studio 2010, I should check "Support COM+ 1.0" but keep "Support component registrar" as unchecked (the default option). After re-creating the ATL project and copying my source code over to the new project, I can get "Install new component(s)" working now.
