So here's how I got the ATI Legacy Graphics Drivers working on my ATI Mobility X1600 on my Acer Ferrari 5000. Download the ATI Legacy drivers (x64 x86). Install them, going all the way until they fail. Download the ATI MobilityModder and install it. When it is finished, copy this patch to "C:\Program Files (x86)\MobilityDotNET".

I used it on my Win XP-Pro and it ran great, but now have upgraded to Win 10-Pro 64bit and Win now only runs it as basic video adapter. AGGIORNAMENTO: funziona anche su Windows 10. Salve a tutti, ho appena installato Windows 8 Pro 64bit su un "vecchio" Acer Aspire con scheda video integrata radeon X1200... chiaramente Windows 8 non ha trovato i drivers automaticamente e ha sostituito la scheda video con una VGA standard.
